It is often necessary to build crates to transport individual window panels and protect the windows throughout the process.
Insurance coverage is provided for our workers as well as our client’s property throughout all phases. Windows that can be removed in their sashes (right) can be transported without crates, needing only a cover sheet and tie downs.
After the removal of this window, a temporary muslin curtain was provided to cut down on light passing through temporary clear glazing. Scaffold was removed and the site cleaned up.


After removal of these windows blocking painted to blend with the building exterior (below right) was installed and a white decorative, insulated covering (above) was applied to the interior. On some projects additional winter protection may be necessary.
